Anita’s Experience

This was pre-planned that after the flag hoisting event for India’s independence day, we would go for brunch. The cafe we had planned was closed, so we went to glyph. On a humid morning when our patriotic spirits were high, this air-conditioned cafe was pleasant, and the weather just turned good. As usual, the inclination to try something different made me conclude with dragonfruit hummus toast. It was not too away from the taste of hummus. The purple colour and seedy texture were good to the eyes and tangy taste to the tongue. The person who served with a smile and a comment of “Enjoy!” signaled my taste buds to really enjoy and so did we 🙂

Prabjeet Experience

15th August 2022 – India’s 75th Independence day, and my first time to visit the Indian High Commission for a flag Hosting ceremony, Being in Singapore for over 2 decades this was the first time I was witnessing the flag hosting.

The place was crowded, once the flag was hosted we walked out of the High Commission in search of a good coffee and air conditioner. We settled for Glyph supply co. cafe, as the cafe Anita wanted me to experience, was not yet opened.

Apart from the coffee was excited for one attending the flag hosting and secondly for my turban which I had decorated as an Indian flag. The coffee tasted much better with a day well started, with pride in our hearts and smiles on our faces.
