My First Book
My first non-fiction or non-comic book I got my hands on was when I was 18 …
Today I can say foundations do matter!
While reading this book, I had no clue how it was going to change my mindset or attitude towards life.
Neither do I remember who gave me or did I buy it, but whatever happened, it was a gift in disguise that did help in building a stronger foundation.
Last week I received a paper cover of the book I ordered to re-read it and highlight the pointers; here are a few from the first 30 pages.
“All we have to fear is fear itself.”
“When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”
“I Fervently believe that to hate is to destroy.”
“They win. They survive. They come out on Top.”
“Nobody is a total failure if he dares to try to do something worthwhile.”
and lastly
“People who never take a chance. Never get ahead”.
I don’t mean to promote the book but the idea it carries, starting from the title itself.
During this tough time, we need to get on top of it and be tougher than it.
