Anita’s Experience

This picture reminds me of the chills down our spine with freezing temperatures when we were like wide-eyed tourists, navigating the unknown place to park our van, to eat, people not understanding much where are we trying to go, and Google driving us in circles. Finally, we just settled here as they had veg options and indoor sitting to keep us warm. That sigh of relief when the food goes in your growling tummy.

Prabjeet Experience

23 December, we landed in a freezing (2 Degree) Belgrade after rerouting the plane to Romania, renting a huge 9-seater van, and driving through central Belgrade with no idea where to park and how things worked. We eventually reached a place that we did not know at that time was called Republic Plaza.

Republic Plaza was on our list of places to visit, and we landed there accidentally searching for Zara. Out of the Van, we felt the first chill and were hungry. We went into the first restaurant that was warm and had veg options.

We were introduced that smoking was expected in most restaurants in Balkan; we and the kids can’t stand the smell of cigarettes and had to put up with this for the next two weeks.

Well, we were glad we got the food and warmed ourselves up.
